Polish retail chain POLOmarket chooses ChargeEuropa to set up EV charging stations

Poland-based EV charging network operator ChargeEurope is partnering with POLOmarket, a leading Polish retail chain of grocery stores, to install EV charging stations at 30 prime locations across Poland.

The partnership marks another milestone in ChargeEuropa’s ongoing mission to bridge the gap between commerce and clean transportation. “At POLOmarket, we focus on providing our shoppers with more value. This is why we selected ChargeEuropa to deploy convenient and reliable EV charging at our stores,” said Katarzyna Szeligowska, Head of Property Management and Commercialization at POLOmarket.

“Our DOOH/EV charging network generates additional revenue for grocery stores looking to monetise their parking lots in a more efficient manner, while bringing clean and dependable EV charging to places where people already spend time and money,” said Matt Tymowski, CEO of ChargeEuropa. “Facilitating clean transportation while leveraging the DOOH marketplace is core to both parties’ missions, which is why the partnership with POLO market is a natural fit.”

With futuristic and minimalist charging stations placed by the main entrances to Poland’s major commercial chains, ChargeEuropa’s network is positioned to become the most utilised EV charging network in the country. By integrating specialised 65” touchscreens, ChargeEuropa provides a high-value space for brands to connect with consumers seconds before they walk into the store and make a purchasing decision. “We created a platform that let’s sustainable FMCG brands (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) accelerate EV adoption while connecting with shoppers where and when it matters the most,” said Euan Wheatley, COO of ChargeEuropa.
