Allego rolls out ultra fast chargers in Denmark

OIL! Tank & Go will install ultra-fast chargers across its 14 service stations of its fuel retail network in Denmark. The retailer has partnered with Allego to kickstart the rollout, which is set to be completed by the first quarter of 2024.

The two companies have embarked on a first-of-its-kind partnership in Denmark, as no other gas station brand has enlisted an external charging provider for their ultra-fast charging network. An agreement was signed that permits the installation of Allego chargers at all 80 branded stations throughout the country.

The sites set out in this agreement are in addition to the backlog of 1,314 sites Allego announced earlier this year. In the future, this partnership has the potential to extend across OIL! Tank & Go’s 340 locations in Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

“This partnership allows OIL! Tank & Go to provide a comprehensive array of refilling options to our customers, ensuring they can charge their electric vehicles quickly and efficiently while enjoying the convenience of our fueling stations. Together with Allego, we are supporting the transition to greener transportation and a more sustainable future,” said  Henrik Schöler, Country Manager at OIL! Tank & Go.

OIL! Tank & Go is a subsidiary of Mabanaft, a German independent and integrated energy company. The brand has continuously grown its service station network since 1994 and now operates around 340 locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark.
