ChargePoint unveiled significant updates to its software services. These enhancements aim to streamline the process for electric and mixed-fuel fleets to locate, access, and pay for vehicle charging via a unified application.

Fleet drivers can now manage all charging activities through one comprehensive app. The package includes a suite of tools designed to offer fleet operators better control and analysis of their fleet operations, with features such as preferred pricing, proactive monitoring, and comprehensive energy and cost reports. These tools assist in

pinpointing efficiency improvements by analyzing when and where drivers charge their vehicles. The updated app also includes a feature for seamless reimbursement when drivers charge their company EVs at home.

ChargePoint’s software can be seamlessly integrated into existing fleet management systems using its open API. The software connects to over 900,000 charging points worldwide, ensuring extensive coverage for on-the-road charging needs.

The software is an extension of ChargePoint’s successful in-dash applications used by over a dozen car manufacturers, now available in a versatile app format for fleet operators. For those managing take-home fleets, the ChargePoint Home Flex residential charging station is available, supporting cost-effective home charging and facilitating driver reimbursements.
